Description

A bright spring pasta with shrimp, sweet peas, crisp radishes, bacon, and herbs tossed in a delicate orange cardamom cream sauce enriched with herby goat cheese.

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted water. Reserve 1 cup pasta water.
  2. Cook bacon in skillet until crisp. Remove and reserve.
  3. In the bacon fat sautรฉ shallot and garlic.
  4. Add shrimp and cook 1โ€“2 minutes per side.

Add

  1. cream
  2. orange juice
  3. orange zest
  4. cardamom

Simmer gently.

  1. Add pasta, peas, radishes, bacon, and a splash of pasta water.
  2. Lower heat and crumble in goat cheese, stirring until melted and silky.
  3. Finish with fresh dill and black pepper.
