Swede Dish Slow Cooker Spiral Ham

Instructions
Place ham in crockpot

Flat side down if possible.
Make glaze

In a small saucepan combine:

honey
-
orange juice
-
Dijon
-
cardamom
-
cinnamon
-
cloves
-
butter
-
Simmer 2–3 minutes until combined.
Pour + layer

Pour glaze over ham.

Add:

orange slices
-
herbs
-
Let it fall between slices
Cook

LOW for 3–4 hours

OR
-
HIGH for 2–2.5 hours
-
Already cooked → just heating + flavoring
Baste (optional but nice)

Spoon juices over once or twice.
Finish (important Swede Dish touch)

Before serving:

spoon glaze over slices

sprinkle:

fresh dill OR thyme
-
tiny lemon zest
Optional “Sticky Finish” (if you want glossy)
