Instructions

Make the Batter

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F
  2. Line an 8x8 pan with parchment
  3. In a bowl:
  4. whisk melted butter + brown sugar
  5. add eggs, lemon zest, lemon juice, vanilla
  6. In a second bowl:
  7. mix flour, baking powder, salt, cardamom
  8. Fold dry into wet until just combined

Bake

  1. Pour into pan, smooth top
  2. Bake 25–30 minutes until:
  3. set in center
  4. lightly golden edges
  5. Cool completely before cutting

Make Lavender Glaze

  1. Whisk until:
  2. smooth
  3. pourable but not runny

Note
