Instructions

1. Combine Ingredients

  1. In a saucepan, add: cranberries and lingonberry preserves

  2. water
  3. orange juice
  4. sugar
  5. orange zest
  6. cinnamon stick, white pepper, lemon, or vinegar (if using)

2. Simmer

  1. Bring to a boil, then reduce to medium-low.
  2. Cook 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst and sauce thickens.

3. Finish

  1. Remove cinnamon stick.
  2. Stir in a pinch of white pepper and optional vinegar/lemon for brightness.
  3. Cool to room temperature — it will thicken as it cools.

4. Serve

  1. Serve chilled or at room temp.
  2. Keeps up to 7 days refrigerated.
