Layer

  1. half bread
  2. dollops mascarpone
  3. blueberries + jam
  4. remaining bread

Custard

  1. Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cardamom, lemon zest → pour over
  2. Refrigerate overnight

Top + Bake

  1. Add streusel
  2. Bake 350°F for 40–45 min

Finish

  1. powdered sugar
  2. maple or honey drizzle
