  3. Add 3 cups flour and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead by hand or mixer 5–7 minutes, adding remaining flour as needed, until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let rise 1–1½ hours, until doubled in size.

Hot Chocolate Filling Instructions

  1. Roll risen dough into a 12×16-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  2. Brush evenly with melted butter.
  3. Sprinkle cocoa powder and brown sugar evenly over the dough.
  4. Roll tightly from the long side and slice into 9–12 rolls.
  5. Marshmallow Icing Instructions
  6. Beat all icing ingredients until smooth, fluffy, and spreadable.
  7. Set aside at room temperature until ready to use.

Baking Instructions

  1. Place rolls in a buttered baking dish.
  2. Cover and let rise 30–45 minutes until puffy.
