Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish (8x8" or similar).

Prepare the apple filling:

  1. In a large bowl, toss apple slices with lemon juice, honey, cinnamon, vanilla, and cornstarch (if using). Spread evenly in the baking dish.

Make the crumble topping:

  1. In another bowl, mix oats, almond flour, nuts (if using), cinnamon, and salt. Stir in melted butter and honey until mixture forms clumps.

Assemble and bake:

  1. Sprinkle the crumble topping over the apples. Bake for 35–40 minutes, until apples are soft and topping is golden and crisp.

Cool slightly before serving.

  1. Delicious warm or room temp — with a spoonful of skyr, yogurt, or a dollop of whipped coconut cream.
